Pump, hose: fitted with handle, dual-purpose nozzle and 30 feet of hose

History note

Second World War period A.R.P. stirrup pump, which was used for dealing with fires. It was operated by two or three people, one operated the nozzle while the second person pumped the water from a bucket and the third could replenish the bucket and relieve the other two when necessary. This pattern of pump has a round foot plate.
